Kathryn Stockett in her novel, tell a story of a surprising duo. This odd couple is composed of white women who is Skeeter and black women who is Aibileen. Skeeter is a pretty girl who is different than the other women. She is very open-minded unlike the other girl of her age. She is ambitious and she comes from the upper-class. Ø   We all love this movie, we can establish a parallel between ourselves and the characters of the story, and it’s a moving story. Its catch us thanks to the fight of the maids. Synopsis The help is a movie directed by Tate Taylor based on the novel of Kathryn Stockett. The movie came out in 2011 in USA. The scene takes place in Mississippi during racial segregation, in 60'S. The main characters are Skeeter, the main female white, she wants to become writer. Aibileen is a black woman, she is warm hearted and ill-treated by her employers. There are others characters like Minny Jackson, Celia Foot and Hilly Holbrook. In the movie the situation is very difficult because the problem of segregation put barriers between blacks and whites.
